Abstract

The objectives of this research was to study the effect of Zn suplementation on ratio to kacang goat weight gain, digestibility and Zn status in blood plasma. This research was held for 8 weeks start from August to September 2009. It was held on animal nutrition and feed laboratory of animal Science departement, Agriculture faculty UNSRI and Dairy cattle nutrition of IPB. This research comparing 2 treatment between Zn-organic supplementation on and control. Four weaned goat were divide into 2 groups and fed with ration contain forage and concentrate. Concentrate were contain com grain and dehulling paddy. Data were analyzed statistically. Treatment were RI (90% forages : 10% concentrate) compare to R2 (90% forages : 10% concentrate suplemented with 50 mg Zn-organic) Based on result it is concluded that 50 mg/kg Zn organic supplementation in weaned goat ransom has no effect on daily gain and digestibility. However, stamina of weaned goat supplemented with Zn-organic is better than control and it’s concentration in blood plasma were increase (0.201 ppm to 1.207 ppm)
