Abstract
This research was hcld to evaluate fibre fraction of alkali delignified com cob. This research was done into two stages. First stage was delignifying com cob using NaOH 1,5% and 3% urea liquid. Second stage was fibre fraction analysis (NDF, ADF, cellulose , hemicellulose and lignin). This research was held in animal feed and Nutrition Laboratory, Animal Science Department Agriculture of Sriwijaya University. Completely Randomized Design of 3 treatments and 3 replications came used : PO (control); P1 (Delignification using NaOH 1,5%) and P2 (Delignification using urea liquid 3%) to observed parameters were NDF, ADF, cellulose, hemiselluloce and lignin. Result shows that delignification treatments were non significanly affected to all parameters except for lignin. It was concluded that delignification process working properly.
