Abstract
The objectives of this research were to examine production and assesed its nutrition quality of organic Cu through onggok fermented using Aspergillus niger. The research was held November 2011 until May 2012 at the Laboratory of Animal Feed and Nutrition, Agriculture Faculty, University of Sriwijaya Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications of Biomineral Cu production; OFi = (control), OF2 (100 g onggok +5% CUSO4), OF3 (100 g onggok + 10% CUSO4), and OF4 (100 g onggok + 15% CUSO4) were done to get the data. The observed parameters were Microbial Biomass Production (MBP) (gram), yield proportion (%) and Cu concentration (%). The result showed that all treatment produce Biomineral Cu, however there was non significant result on biomass and yield production. The highest biomass production and yield proportion was in addition of 15% CuS04, however, the highest concentration of Cu were in 10% CuS04. This implied that 10% concentration is the optimum level for production of Cu Biomineral.
