Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model RADEC terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada pembelajaran IPAS peserta didik kelas IV SDN 2 Rantau Durian 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan tipe one group pretest-posttest. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil validasi soal pretest-posttest dinyatakan 10 soal valid dan 4 soal direvisi dengan setiap soal sudah mewakili indikator membaca pemahaman. Hasil uji pretest dan posttest menyatakan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan terdapat pengaruh model RADEC terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman pada pembelajaran IPAS dengan Zhitung (-12.77) < -Ztabel (-1,96). Hasil ini juga didukung oleh hasil observasi yang menyatakan bahwa model RADEC sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik kelas IV yang senang dengan aktivitas fisik dan pembelajaran IPAS yang merupakan pembelajaran proses.
