Abstract
This study aims to find out: 1) The effect of sales promotions in Shopee e-commerce on the consumptive behavior of Economic Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University Class of 2020, 2) The effect of financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of Economic Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University Class of 2020, 3) The effect of sales promotions in Shopee e-commerce and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of Economic Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University Class of 2020. The population in this study were Economics Education students class of 2020. The sample in this study was taken using a purposive sampling technique, with the criteria determined by the study objectives being Economic Education students in the Class of 2020 who used Shopee as e-commerce to shop online so the sample size of 63 students was obtained. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. Test the validity of the instrument using the product moment correlation formula and test the reliability of the instrument using the Cronbach Alpha formula. The results showed that: 1) There is an influence of sales promotion in Shopee e-commerce on the consumptive behavior of Economic Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University Class of 2020 with a value of tcount = 2,697 > ttable = 1,999, 2) There is an influence of financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of Economic Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University Class of 2020 with a value of tcount = 3,594 > ttable = 1,999, 3) There is an influence of sales promotions in Shopee e-commerce and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of Economic Education students at FKIP Sriwijaya University Class of 2020 with a value of Fcount = 22,88 > Ftable = 3,15. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that students can be wiser in responding to the sales promotions offered and always improve financial literacy skills to control consumptive behavior.
