Abstract

Ayam broiler adalah jenis unggas pedaging yang sering dibudidayakan karena masa panen yang cepat sehingga dalam waktu singkat dapat dipasarkan. probiotik adalah mikroba hidup yang digunakan sebagai pakan imbuhan dan dapat menguntungkan inangnya. Acidifier adalah bahan tambahan pakan yang digunakan untuk menurunkan pH untuk membantu metabolisme pencernaan hewan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan februari sampai dengan bulan maret 2025 di Kandang Percobaan Studi Peternakan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi probiotik Lactobacillus plantarum dan tepung limbah jeruk terhadap kadar kolesterol, trigliserida, High- density lipoprotein, dan Low-density lipoprotein. Sampel darah dianalisa di laboratorium Klinik Kesehatan Universitas Sriwijaya. Perlakuan terdiri dari P0 = Kontrol, P1 = Antibiotik tetraciclyne 0,8% dan Acidifier 0,8%, P2 = Antibiotik tetraciclyne 0,8% dan Acidifier 1,2%, P3 = Probiotik 0,8% dan Acidifier 0,8%, dan P4 = Probiotik 0,8% dan Acidifer 0,8% dengan cara ditambahkan kedalam ransum. Hasil penelitian pemberian ransum dengan kombinasi probiotik dan Acidifier terhadap kadar Kolesterol, trigliserida, HDL, dan LDL tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Kadar kolesterol, trigliserida, HDL, dan LDL masih dalam rentang normal, Kolesterol 90,7 – 112,5 mg/dL, Trigliserida 29,5 – 41,7 mg/Dl, HDL 45,25 – 56,5 mg/dL, dan LDL 37 – 58 mg/Dl. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, suplementasi probiotik Lactobacillus plantarum sampai level 0,8% dan acidifier berupa tepung limbah jeruk sampai level 1,2% dalam ransum ayam broiler dapat mempertahankan kadar normal kolesterol, trigliserida, low-density lipoprotein, dan high-density lipoprotein darah ayam broiler. Kata Kunci: Broiler, Probiotik, Acidifier, Limbah Jeruk, Fraksi Lemak Darah.
