Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyzed access pregnant mother is obtaining delivery service. The research uses qualitative descriptive method with case study, purposive as determination of informants and social action theory. The result showed that access pregnant mother is obtaining delivery service can be done two options with medical officer (midwife) and non medical (shaman). This is indicated by own criteria in selecting and maintaining the health of pregnant mother in Melear Sari village from early pregnancy to postpartum. There some matter with influence access pregnant mother get in delivery service to midwife, that is trust, emotional awareness, economy and family support. But access pregnant mother is obtaining delivery service with shaman influence by a/lack distance health site, culture, tranportation, education and family. Action influence for access pregnant mother in Melear Sari village is rational instrumental action and traditional action.
