Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan sistem listrik AC dan DC terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L.) yang menggunakan sistem hidroponik terapung. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2022 sampai bulan Februari 2023 di Laboratorium Biosistem, Energi Pertanian dan Drafting Jurusan Teknologi Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya, Indralaya dan Hidroponik Permata Indralaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan parameter penelitian yaitu Tinggi Tanaman, Lebar Daun, Jumlah Daun, Berat Tanaman, Produktivitas Tanaman, Kebutuhan Daya, Energi Listrik, Intensitas Cahaya, Suhu, Kelembaban, pH, TDS dan EC Tanaman. Hasil pertumbuhan tanaman selada menggunakan lampu LED grow light AC dan DC mendapatkan berat tanaman sekitar 23,5 gram dan 109,3 gram. Untuk produktivitas tanaman selada pada lampu LED grow light AC dan DC sebesar 1,08 ton/ha dan 5,02 ton/ha. Pertumbuhan tanaman selada pada penelitian ini memiliki hubungan dengan jenis lampu penyinaran yang diberikan pada tanaman.
