Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “PENGUKURAN KUALITAS PEMBERITAAN NASIONAL DAN LOKAL DARING (Analasis Perbandingan Pemberitaan Kasus Kematian Brigadir J di Portal Berita Online Detik.com dan Sripoku.com). Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengukur perbandingan kualitas pemberitaan nasional baik pada portal berita online nasional sendiri maupun portal berita online lokal. Di mana pada penelitian ini sendiri, berita yang dianalisis adalah berita mengenai kematian seorang Brigadir bernama Yosua Hutabarat atau dalam kasus ini kerap disebut dengan Brigadir J. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori kriteria kualitas berita 5C oleh Anderson dan menggunakan metode penelitian analisis isi kuantitatif. Berita-berita terkait kasus kematian Brigadir J edisi 11 Juli sampai 11 Agustus 2022 yang berjumlah 132 berita dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus Holsty. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari lima dimensi kriteria kualitas berita oleh Anderson : Comprehensibility, Context, Causality, Comparativeness, dan Comprehensiveness, baik Detik.com maupun Sripoku.com cukup berhasil memenuhi indikator-indikator dari kelima dimensi tersebut. Namun dari hasil perbandingan yang telah dilakukan, Detik.com tampak lebih unggul dalam memenuhi indikator-indikator yang ada dibandingkan dengan Sripoku.com. Kata kunci : Kualitas Pemberitaan, Portal Berita Online, Comprehensibility, Context, Causality, Comparativeness, Comprehensiveness This research is entitled “MEASUREMENT OF THE QUALITY OF NATIONAL AND LOCAL ONLINE REPORTING (Comparative Analysis of Reporting on the Case of Brigadier J's Death on Detik.com and Sripoku.com Online News Portals). This study aims to measure the comparison of the quality of national news both on national online news portals and local online news portals. In this research, the news that was analyzed was news about the death of a Brigadier named Yosua Hutabarat or in this case often called Brigadier J. This study uses the theory of news quality criteria 5C by Anderson and uses quantitative content analysis research methods. News regarding the death of Brigadier J from July 11 to August 11, 2022, with a total of 132 articles analyzed using the Holsty formula. The results of this study indicate that of the five dimensions of Anderson's news quality criteria: Comprehensibility, Context, Causality, Comparativeness, and Comprehensiveness, both Detik.com and Sripoku.com are quite successful in fulfilling the indicators from the five dimensions. However, from the results of the comparisons that have been made, Detik.com appears to be superior in meeting the existing indicators compared to Sripoku.com.
