Abstract

Increasing human populations are a factor for increasing electric needer. Country electric company (PT.PLN Persero) is a company that has authority for handling electric sistem in Indonesia. PT. PLN (Persero) have power plant and load center. Power Plant have very long distance with load center. Because of that, the research is conducted by analyzing power losses and drop voltage that determine whether electric sistem can be categorized as good or bad. Data-data are taken from Kenten substation Palembang that calculate by calculation. Based on data calculation, manual calculation of Subaru cubicle of kenten substations have a drop voltage of 0,034 KV with drop voltage percentage of 0,17% and power losses of 1,9668 KW with power losses percentage of 0,07%, then ETAP simulations have drop voltage of 0,3 KV with drop voltage percentage of 1,51% and power losses of 73,7 KW with power losses percentage of 2,97%. Drop voltage and power losses gain relatively small value. According the result of drop voltage and the result of power losses occurred in Subaru cubicle that can be categorized as good. PT. PLN (Persero) regulates drop voltage and power losses by maximum +5% and minimum -10% of nominal voltage and power losses.
