Abstract

Under unemployment banyak terjadi di sektor pertanian selain upah yang selalu mengalami kenaikan juga memiliki jam kerja yang fleksibel. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa pengaruh jenis kelamin, rata-rata lama sekolah, umur, total upah, dan subsektor pertanian pada peluangnya menjadi under unemployment di sektor pertanian Kabupaten Kerinci Provinsi Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari pengisian kuisioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 96 orang penduduk yang bekerja di sektor pertanian. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan model analisis menggunakan metode analisis regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa under unemployment dapat dijelaskan oleh variabilitas jenis kelamin, rata-rata lama sekolah, umur, total upah, dan subsektor pertanian sebesar 44,7 persen sedangkan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Under unemployment di sektor pertanian dominan dipengaruhi oleh variabel umur, total upah, dan subsektor pertanian tanaman pangan (sawah).
