Abstract

The problem of this research is about the rarity and the highly cost of raw rallan material and also how to moti vate the owner, and industry owners who can not afford to own their own industries. This research have a 15 infromantas, The method of this research is qualitative method with group as an analysis unit. This research uses the theory of Social from Sarafino is Social Psychologist, which explained about forms of social support and the ability of tge recipient in utilizing the support. The result of this research f ound that the supports that gained by the industry owner are: giving attention and simple action (emotional support), lending funds and providing services (intrumental support), giving advice and information (information support), and giving compliment (award/appreciation support). Any kinds of support or assistance will not beneficial if the industry owner has no ability in determining ways and strategies that will make hi/her industry afloat and gain a significant profit. Such as; internal strategis inculde expert workplace employability, capital strength, technology utilization. External strategies include the develompment of consumer interest, and competition between industries.
