Abstract
The purpose of this study was to describe an increase the learning outcomes Class IV Students of SD Negeri 157 Palembang in the sub-theme My Bestfriend’s Plant model Role Playing. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 cycles of action. The research subjects were grade III C students, totaling 35 students consisting of 18 male students and 17 female students. The data collection technique used test and observation. The results of the study show that the average grade in the first cycle is 68,1 and the classical completeness percentage is 71.42%. In the second cycle there was an increase in student learning outcomes with an average score of 83.6 and classical completeness of 82.85%. The activeness of the students also experienced an increase in the first cycle, the number of student activity with an average of 67.3 classical completeness of 67.2% and classified as quiete active. In the second cycle, there was an increase with an average of 81.1 classical completeness of 81% and classified as active. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the model Role Playing can improve the learning outcomes of third grade students of SD Negeri 157 Palembang.
