Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of company size, liquidity, and leverage on the profitability of coal sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period of 2019-2022. This study employs a quantitative method with secondary data in the form of annual financial reports obtained from the official company websites and www.idx.co.id. The sample is obtained using purposive sampling technique. Multiple linear regression analysis is used in this research. The results of this study indicate that the company size variable does not have a significant effect on profitability, the liquidity variable does not have a significant effect on profitability, and the leverage variable has a significant influence on profitability.
