Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of leadership style on the performance of employees of the Environmental and Grievance Service. The population in this study was the total number of employees in the Environmental and Hygiene Department. This study uses a therefore the sample of this research are l 00 employees at Department of Environment and Hygiene. The data used in this study is primary data obtained by distribute questionnaries and method of analysis used simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has a significant effect on the performance of employees of the Environment and Hygiene Department. The advice that can be given from this study is that leaders can implement leadership styles that are more democratic which can influence and improve employee performance.
