Abstract

Research on the effect of commercial feeding with the addition of red ginger extract and temulawak extract as much as 12 ml/kg on the growth rate and survival of Bintang Pomfret (Trachinotus blocchii) seeds has been carried out at the Lampung marine aquaculture center (BBPBL). The experimental design used is a complete randomized design by using 1 concrete tub measuring 3 m x 1 m x 1 m and using 12 nets measuring 50 cm x 50 cm with a dense stocking of 20 tails with an initial weight of 3-4 grams with a length of 4-6 cm, and with 4 treatments 3 times repetition (a) feed (control), (b). feed + red ginger extract, (c). feed + extract of ginger and (d). feed + red ginger extract and temulawak extract. The results showed the highest growth in the treatment of feed added with red ginger extract with a value of 17.29 grams and 4.95 cm, daily growth rate with a value of 3.24 %, feed conversion ratio of 1.55 and 100% survival.
