Abstract

In the recitation process at SMK PGRI 2 Palembang, currently they still use a manual system using Microsoft Exel and recording in many books. Payroll activities like this raise a lot of concerns for the storage process and data security system, as well as the payroll calculation system has a risk of errors and difficulties in the data retrieval process. Apart from that, in terms of security and storing data, it will also take up more space and can damage existing files if they are stored for too long. In this study the role of the application will be very helpful in managing payroll more easily because it can minimize errors in the calculation process, as well as guarantee data integration and security and can provide reports automatically. From the results of testing the authors concluded that the application built was running well and was in accordance with what was expected by the author.
