Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze how social media, specifically Instagram, is utilized within the context of the "APBN Kita" program by the Indonesian Government. The focus of this research is on content published between the years 2022 and 2023 using the hashtag #APBNKita. A total of 143 posts were selected as a sample for content analysis. The results of this study indicate that social media is widely used for public communication and education, with a strong emphasis on information about government revenue and expenditure, performance achievements, and the outcomes of expenditure. However, the findings also show that the use of social media for public consultation, i.e., gaining input and feedback from the community, needs to be improved. These findings provide crucial insights into how social media can be used to enhance transparency, public participation, and accountability in public financial management.
