Abstract
ICT (Information Communication Technology) has become an integral part of improving the quality of higher education. ICT can be utilized to improve in the learning and teaching process, researching, college management, and library services. Advancement of technology in this field has also made significant progress in various regions such as America, Europe, and Australia, and even have reached areas like Latin America, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East. ICT is necessary because of the current academic presence in higher education is still conducted conventionally. Conventional way of attendance tracking, there are risks of data loss in attendance recording, and it can be challenging of efficiency to compile attendance data. To address the aforementioned issues, there is one solution to the problem, which is to develop a prototype website that can assist the educational institution in the attendance data processing process. This website can track users' locations based on coordinates, such as longitude and latitude, when they perform attendance. Additionally, the website has features to scan QR codes and take selfies during attendance, so the recorded data in the database includes selfie photos and the location's coordinate data at the time of the user's attendance.
