Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of nearpod media on students learning motivation in economics subjects at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. This research is a type of experimental research with a Pre Experimental Design in the form of a Pre test Post test Design. The research population was class X IPS SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang and the sample in this study was class X IPS 2, which consisted of 36 students. Data collection techniques used in the form of questionnaires and observation. The data analysis technique of students learning motivation was obtained from the analysis of pretest and posttest questionnaire data, and the analysis of observation data was obtained from the results of observations when applying the Nearpod learning media. The hypothesis uses the t test, namely the F test statistic is obtained thitung ttabel namely 38.788 2.042 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of nearpod media on students learning motivation in economics subjects at SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. It is suggested that educators should use Nearpod media as a learning medium that supports the description of subject matter and generates students learning motivation.
