Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance at PT Bank Panin Palembang Branch. The population in this study were all permanent employees of PT Bank Panin Palembang branch in 2023 as many as 117 employees. Determination of the number of samples used by the author in this study is by the census method (saturated sampling) which is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. The results of multiple linear analysis show that training and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Training, there needs to be research in choosing vendors, training instructors and training materials. In the instructor category, employees feel that some instructors in the training have not really mastered the training material presented. Work motivation, it is expected that there is a need for rolling with several parts of the work unit so that good relations are maintained between employees. In addition, there is also a need for additional activities outside office hours such as eating together, family gathering which aim to provide a more harmonious relationship with fellow employees and superiors.
