Abstract

Public Health Center (Puskesmas) as a primary health care that provides health service for JKN (National Health Insurance) participants. Puskesmas Payakabung is the one of Puskesmas with the lowest visits in 2017 amounted by 650 visitors in terms of utilization of health services by JKN participants in Ogan Ilir Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of predisposing factors, capabilities and needs in the utilization of health services by JKN participants in Puskesmas Payakabung area. The type of this study is cross sectional with simple random sampling technique that total sample is 112 people. The results of the analysis based on Univariate and Bivariate analysis is most of sample do not utilize health services (56,3%), from age variable ≤ 46 years (60,7%), females (59,8%), low education (76,8%), employment (66,1%), good perceptions towards health officers services (61,6%), perceptions of JKN utilization (55,4%),service accessibility (67,9%) and pain perception (58,9%). There were correlation between age variable (p-value = < 0,0001), gender (p-value = 0,016), perception of JKN utilization (p-value = 0,039), service accessibility (p-value = < 0,0001) with utilization of health services by JKN participants in Puskesmas Payakabung area. All of the 8 variables studied, only 4 that related variables were age, gender, perception of JKN utilization, and service accessability. It is hoped that this study can improve the success of health programs and JKN services in Puskesmas Payakabung to improve the community”s health status .
