Abstract
Gembira Photo is a photography studio and print business with over 15 years of experience in providing photo printing and photo shoot services. The business owner is keen on opening a new branch outside the city. However, the owner is currently facing problems due to a past business failure caused by relying on intuition to make calculations without conducting proper surveys. In addition, Gembira Photo's business owners experienced uncertainty in choosing the best place for the branch location. Given the context, a suitable decision support method is required that offers recommendations for determining business branch locations. The Tsukamoto Fuzzy Logic method is the correct approach to address these problems. It comprises of three steps: fuzzification, fuzzy inference system, and defuzzification. Fuzzification converts non-fuzzy values to fuzzy ones. The fuzzy inference system process creates system rules based on the fuzzification set, resulting in 243 rules. This process combines the values of the fuzzification results with the inference system rules. The final process, defuzzification, converts the fuzzy inference system's results into real numbers. This study examines four potential business branch locations as alternatives. The criteria are established according to the Gembira Photo business owner's preferences. The outcomes take the form of ranked values from each potential site for establishing a branch.
