Abstract

The problem that is the focus of this research relates to the evaluation of information technology governance using the COBIT 5 framework at PT. Persada Palembang Raya with domains BAI09, DSS01, DSS02, DSS06. The approach used in conducting this research is the COBIT 5 framework, therefore the research data will then be analyzed using the COBIT 5 framework method which is the basis for evaluating and obtaining an understanding according to research needs. Based on the implementation of the research, the results and discussion of this study obtained several things. First, based on the results of processing the questionnaire data, it was found that the average value for the BAI09, DSS01, DSS02, and DSS06 domains was 3 or Established Process from a value range of 1 to 5. This means that the company already has the means to monitor and measure procedures so that it can be taken action if any process is indicated to be ineffective and efficient. Then, a strategy is needed, namely gradual improvement of IT service governance in the Technology Department of PT. Persada Palembang Raya. The COBIT framework can be adapted to carry out the IT service governance planning process. Second, in order to obtain a good and appropriate recommendation, a more in-depth understanding and knowledge of IT governance is needed. Third, in an effort to produce recommendations, it is important to coordinate with PT. Persada Palembang Raya.
