Abstract
This study aims to determine students' interest in participating in Physical Education, Sports and Health lessons at SD Negeri 23 Pemulutan. This research is quantitative descriptive. The method used is a survey method of data collection techniques using a questionnaire. In this study, the study population was all students at SD Negeri 23 Pemulutan consisting of grades I, II, III, IV, V and VI totaling 149 students. Purposive sampling is for determining samples with special selection with certain considerations. The samples used were grades V and VI, totaling 36 students. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis as outlined in the form of percentages using MS Excel facilities. Of the 40 questions given to each student, the results that have been calculated can be concluded that students' interest in learning Physical and Health Education is in the "very low" category of 14% (5 students), "low" of 11% ( 4 students), "moderate" by 28% (10 students), "high" by 44% (16 students), and "very high" by 3% (1 student). Based on the average score, which is 115, the interest of class V and VI students in participating in physical education, sports and health lessons at SD Negeri 23 Pemulutan is in the "High" category.
