Abstract
Risfina Ayu Rochmayani Advisor: Drs. Supriyadi, M.Pd. Study Program Of Indonesian Languange and Literature Education Risfinaayurochmayani1935@gmail.com This research has objectives including (1) describing the results of an analysis of the needs of class VII students at SMP Negeri 06 North Indralaya regarding teaching materials for writing fantasy story texts using Camtasia Studio software, (2) describing the results of designing teaching materials for writing fantasy story texts for junior high school students. Negeri 06 North Indralaya and (3) describe the results of expert validation obtained on teaching materials for writing fantasy story texts for class VII students of SMP Negeri 06 North Indralaya. The research method used is development using the development steps from Alessi and Trollip (2001). The research instruments used were interviews, questionnaires, and student and teacher needs analysis test sheets. This validation assessment has several aspects including, material content aspects, linguistic content aspects and media content aspects which were carried out by 3 Indonesian Language and Literature Education lecturers at Sriwijaya University. The validity test of material experts with a score of 29 with a percentage value of 90.63% is categorized as very feasible, the validity test of linguistic experts with a score
