Abstract
The Background Substraction Algorithm is very useful for detecting significant changes in images, such as objects appering and changes in environmental conditions. The advantage of this system is the application of the Internet of Things, which can access data directly via applications remotely, using IoT to collect data on plantations, including images from cameras installed at plantation locations. And OpenCV is a platform for analyzing images and applying the Background Substraction Algorithm. With the hope, plantation managers can optimize efficiency in supervising or managing plantations without having to go directly to the location, and provide faster time in managing plantations.
