Abstract

In the PISA 2021 framework, Computational Thinking (CT) is described as a detailed mathematical solution to the problem to be solved. The application of CT-based learning is still not widely applied in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the application of learning using LKPD based on computational thinking indicators to see the CT ability of junior high school students on the material of power numbers. The research subjects were 29 students of class IX SMP Negeri 54 Palembang in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the study stated that 39% of students could decompose the problems given, 17% of students could recognize patterns in the problem, 24% of students could sort out the information in the problem or abstract, and 26% of students could solve the problem well according to the algorithm indicator.
