Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project in an effort to shape the character values of students of SMPN 51 Palembang. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique with informants totaling 2 students. This research uses data collection techniques, namely documentation, interviews and observation techniques. From the results of this study it was found that: 1) the implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project at SMP Negeri 51 Palembang has used the principles of implementing the Pancasila student profile strengthening project including holistic principles, contextual principles, learner-centered principles, and exploratory principles, and 2) the average implementation of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project in an effort to shape the character values of students of SMP Negeri 51 Palembang is in the excellent category is 89.2% which is included in the excellent category.
