Abstract

This research entitled "Self Presentation of Unsri FISIP Ambassador on Instagram Social Media" which discusses how the self-presentation of active members of Unsri FISIP Ambassador on Instagram based on the concept of Erving Goffman's Dramaturgy theory. This study aims to determine the self-presentation of active members of the Unsri FISIP Ambassador on social media, especially Instagram social media. This research uses qualitative research methods. Erving Goffman's Dramaturgy Theory likens in our daily lives, humans are likened to an actor who is playing his role in three stages, namely front stage or front stage, back stage or back stage, and off stage. Based on the results of his research, the three informants have more than one Instagram account where each account has a different function, but both make the first Instagram account a place to do personal branding.
