Abstract
This research was aimed to determine the percentage of carcass, commercial parting and meat bone ratio (breaests, thighs, wings) were given a wood vineger. The research was conducted at the experimental cage animal husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, for 3 months that was from may until carcass july 2013. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 treatments and each treatment consisted of 3 replicates. The treatment used was wood vineger, with doses R0 = water + 0% wood vineger, RI = water + 0.25% wood vineger, R2 = water + 0.5% wood vineger, R3 = water + 0.75% wood vineger, R0 = water + 1% wood vineger. The parameters observed were percentage of carcass, commercial carcass parting and meat bone ratio in (breaests, thighs, wings) The results showed that giving of wood vineger to the drinking water gave significantly (P>0,05) to the percentage of carcass, but wes not significantly (P>0.05) on commercial carcass parting and meat bone ratio in (breaests, thighs, wings) of broiler chickens.
