Abstract
Granite is an igneous rock which is commonly used as a rock construction. To reach these consumption, PT. Trimegah Perkasa Utama build a granite processing unit Crushing Plant with a production target of ± 280,000 tons / month. However, in the activities of production, Crushing Plant unit frequently encountered resistance from mechanical factors instrumental i ties or non-mechanical factors that cause the loss of the effective time of operation and decreasing tools productivity. From the research that has been done, it is known that the condition of the unit Crushing Plant at the moment, the level of productivity average of 131.750,40 tons / month at Jaques Primary and 78.110,17 tons / month at Primary Nordberg, the percentage of the value of the average mechanical availability Primary Jaques 72% in primary and 70% in Nordberg Primary while the value of production per hour is 681,73 tons / hour at Jaques Pimary and 434,5 tons / hour at Nordberg Primary. Value reduction ratio is 2,64 and 3,16 at the Jaques Primary and Primary Nordberg. These results indicate that the obstacle affecting production activities Crushing Plant, as seen from the low effective tool operation time and the efficiency of the work, so it is necessary to study to improve tools productivity to provide altemative Solutions to non-mechanical barrier so that the effective time of operation becomes larger. So after repair, condition of the unit Crushing Plant experience changes namely the effective time of the operation increased to 10,49 hours / day in Jaques Primaiy and 9,06 hours / day at Primary Nordberg, the value of work efficiency increased to 58% in Jaques Primary and 51% on Primary Nordberg. productivity of Primary Crushing increased to 294.691 tons / month, the percentage of the average of the mechanical availability increased to 79% in Primary Jaques and 75% in Primary Nordberg
