Abstract
The objective of this research was to find out the best concentration of cytokinin contain plant growth regulator (CCPGR) on the growth and the survival of mangosteen graftings. The research was conducted in Sukaraja Baru, Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir Regency from February 2005 to July 2005. Research was arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RBD), which consisted of five treatments and five replications. The treatments were No (0 ppm CCPGR), N, (500 ppm CCPGR), N2 (1000 ppm CCPGR), N3 (1500 ppm CCPGR), and N4 (2000 ppm CCPGR). The result indicated that the concentrations of cytokinin contain plant growth regulator was not significantly affected to parameters observed. Nevertheless the data showed that 1500 ppm CCPGR (N3) gave the highest percentage of survival mangosteen graftings, 50%.
