Abstract

This research was purposed to discribe the motivating factors influenced become Sukaratu rice bam group member, to measure motivating level, to accountu farmer’s income and to analyze the corellation between farmer motivating level become Sukaratu rice bam group member and farmer’s income. The data collecting was done at Sungai Dua Village Rambutan Subdistrict Banyuasin on May 2005. This research used simple random sampling method with total farmer sample were 30 peoples ffom 40 farmers population. The result of this research showed the parameters that influenced farmer motivating after become Sukaratu rice bam group member were ferming product, field ownership status and modals helping. Farmer’s income before become Sukaratu rice bam group member rotate between Rp. Rp. 2.648.624,87 to Rp.6.869.395,33 perhectare per plant period with income average was Rp. 3.855.586,02 perhectare per plant period. Farmer motivating level after become Sukaratu rice bam group member used measuring parameters (1) product components intensification enclosed superior seeds using and fertilizers using, (2) as rice bam group member activity enclosed group discovery, obliged and voluntary contribution payment and seeds and fertilizers loan payment. The result of this research showed that alll of motivasing indicators influences famier motivating after become Sukaratu rice bam group member. Farmer motivating level after become Sukaratu rice bam group member is 30,31 including on high criteria. After become Sukaratu rice bam group member, farmer’s income increase between Rp. 2.190.000,00 to Rp. 9.739.000,00 with income average Rp. 5.827.905,70 or 66,15%. Parametric statistic analysis of Spearman corel lation test showed that there was not corellation between farmer motivating level after become Sukaratu rice bam group member and farmer income (rs = 0,306)
