Abstract

This development research aims to produce infographic media as a learning medium in Meranjat Village, Ogan Ilir. This development research was carried out using the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Data collection techniques use questionnaires and observation. Data was collected through the needs analysis stage, namely by distributing questionnaires to ten respondents, obtaining a percentage of 84.5% so that the development of infographic media about environmental damage due to forest fires was really needed. The validity of the media was assessed by three experts, namely media experts, material experts and experts. language using a questionnaire. The analysis used is the Likert Scale in the expert validation questionnaire, one to one, small group, as well as evaluation and the Guttman Scale at the needs analysis stage. Implementation was carried out in two stages, namely a one to one trial on three respondents and a small group trial on seven respondents which aimed to test the practicality of infographic media about environmental damage caused by forest fires. Evaluation was carried out by post test on fifteen respondents. The results of the research showed that the validity level of material experts was 90.63% in the very valid category, media experts were 96.43% in the very valid category, and language experts were 97.22% in the very valid category. So that the media is valid for use as a learning medium. The level of practicality obtained from the results of one to one implementation was 93.52% in the very practical category, small group trials 97.22% in the very practical category and the evaluation stage was 96.33% in the very practical category, so that the media is categorized as very practical as a learning medium. This proves that infographic media about environmental damage due to forest fires is valid and practical as a learning medium. Keywords: Environment, Fire, Infographic Media
