Abstract

Graphical User Interface or GUI is one of the user interfaces that can facilitate users to interact with computer systems. In previous research, GUIs have been programmed with other programming such as JAVA and Matlab. Unfortunately, both of these programs are prone to errors and the source code's data is easily hijacked, making it less efficient to use. So in this research, the GUI is designed with Python programming using the Tkinter library which is then connected to MySQL. This Python GUI aims to display a display in the form of important information, such as the travel route and distance traveled by the autonomous vehicle so that the data used is in the form of map data. Based on the results of research conducted at the Indralaya Campus and Palembang Campus, the Python GUI system is quite effective in displaying the distance route traveled by the autonomous vehicle. By calculating the Euclidean Distance, the fastest route with a short distance is obtained so that it can facilitate users in finding the best and quickest route, especially for users who often have difficulty finding routes. The error difference in the comparison of Google Maps and Euclidean Distance calculations where the error value in the Euclidean Distance calculation is closer to the Google Maps calculation value, makes the autonomous vehicle travel route displayed on the GUI faster and saves battery to get to the destination point.
