Abstract

The activities of residents in Prabumulih city are greatly influenced by the availability of electricity. To maintain the availability of electricity, one of the important things that need to be considered is the reliability index of the distribution system. Therefore, this study will analyze the distribution system in fatmawati feeder at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Prabumulih. The analysis was carried out using the Failure Modes and Effect Analysis method by calculating the index values of SAIFI, SAIDI, CAIDI, ASAI, and ASUI. The calculation results on the reliability index show SAIFI values of 5.13/times/customer/year, SAIDI 6.130161 hours/customer/year, CAIDI 1.194963 hours/interruption, ASAI 0.999645, and ASUI 0.000355. When compared with SPLN with the value of SAIFI, SAIDI, CAIDI respectively 1.2 times/customer/year, 0.83/hour/year, 0.69/hour/interference, then none of the values of the reliability index are included in the reliable category. When compared with IEEE standards with SAIFI, SAIDI, CAIDI, ASAI, and ASUI standard values of 1.5 times/customer/year, 2.3 hours/customer/year, 1.47 hours/interruption, 0.999, and 0.001, respectively, CAIDI and ASUI reliability indices are included in the reliable category, while the SAIFI, SAIDI, and ASAI reliability indices are not included in the reliable category.
