Abstract

Learning Management System (LMS) is a web-based technology that makes it easier to plan, distribute and evaluate a learning process (Fitriani, 2020). With the Learning Management System, the learning process can be carried out remotely from campus. So the Learning Management System not only functions as a facilitator but also makes it easier for lecturers and students in the learning process (Puriwigati & Buana, 2020). Various theories to test a process of adopting information technology by users, one of which is Unified Technology of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). This UTAUT model will be used to explain acceptance of information technology. The use of the UTAUT model is because UTAUT is considered a better model and is deemed more suitable than a similar model as before, namely TAM. The UTAUT model was developed through a review of 8 previous technology adoption models. The 8 previous models are Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) (Davis, 1989), Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) (Ajzen, 1991), Model of PC Utilization (MPCU) (Thompson et al. , 1991), Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT) (Moore & Benbasat, 1991), Motivational Model (MM) (Davis et al., 1992), Combined TAM and TPB (Taylor & Todd, 1995), and Social Cognitice Theory (SCT ) (Compeau et al., 1999).
