Abstract

Research on the effect of adding Avicennia marina mangrove fruit powder and Vitamin C to feed on the growth rate of Tiger Grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus) fry was carried out at the Lampung Center for Marine Aquaculture (BBPBL). The experimental design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 repetitions of 4 treatments, namely (a). Commercial feed without additions, (b). Commercial feed with the addition of A.marina mangrove fruit 20 grams/kg, (c). Commercial feed with the addition of Vitamin C 2 grams/kg, and (d). Commercial feed adds a mixture of A. marina mangrove fruit 20 grams/kg + vitamin C 2 grams/kg. The results of the 30 day study showed that the highest growth was found in the treatment of commercial feed plus 20 grams/kg of A.marina mangrove fruit with variable results of survival (100%), Absolute Length (2.79 cm), Absolute Weight (22.36 grams), SGR (5.89%), and FCR had the lowest value (1.11). This shows that the growth rate of Tiger Grouper seeds is growing well and optimally.
