Abstract
This study titled effort to improve kinesthetic intelligence A group of children through traditional games jump rope in TK PGRI Tanjung Batu which aims to improve kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 4-5 years through playing jump rope. The subjects were children in group A the 16 children consisting of 8 girls and 8 boys. Data collection techniques were used that test action, observation and documentation. The results of data analysis showed an increase of prasiklus, the first cycle and the second cycle. Respectively children who receive a minimum value entered in the category of developing according to expectations (BSH) is of pre-cycle there were 5 children (31%) increased in the first cycle to seven children (46%), then in the second cycle to 8 people children (50%). Based on the results of the analysis of the percentage of success criteria in the first cycle by 67%, which is at the low category increased to 81% in the second cycle at the high category. All indicators appear evident from observations at the end of the second cycle indicator appears that indicator motor coordination and strength while jumping with two feet, flexibility and balance the body while hopping on one foot, motor coordination, balance, and speed time to jump laterally left and right, and coordination of movement and balance the body during running and jumping.
