Abstract
This study aimed to describe the implementation of learning model Talking Stick on the theme of My Ambition at Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang, which include: (1) the implementation of learning, and (2) the involvement of students in the fourth grade at Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang. This type of the research used is qualitative research. The subject of this study was a classroom teacher and students in class IVd with 40 students. The data of the research were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. At the time of learning process, teacher applied model of Talking Stick well. Based on the value of students’ learning outcomes was obtained by the average value of the themes my ambition on the sub-theme fourth graders 84,125 on which is included in very good category. Since students have reached the KKM regulated by the school so the students succeded in applying the model. From the results and discussion could be implied that the study conducted by the teacher in class IVd at SD Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang was good.
