Abstract

Fitoplankton merupakan produsen utama bagi organisme lain di perairan, konsentrasi klorofil-a dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai parameter pengukuran biomassa fitoplankton. Teknologi penginderaan jauh dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam pemantauan indikator klorofil-a di suatu perairan. Desa Banjarsari dan Pulau Duo merupakan salah satu daerah perairan yang terletak di Pulau Enggano yang memiliki sumberdaya ikan yang cukup besar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kelimpahan fitoplankton dan perbandingan konsentrasi klorofil-a secara insitu dan menggunakan citra Sentinel-2A. Pengambilan data insitu pada bulan September 2023 dan pengolahan data citra perekaman bulan September 2023 dengan menggunakan algoritma Pentury (1997). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 30 genus fitoplankton dengan kelimpahan berkisar antara 65-158 sel per liter dan nilai konsentrasi klorofil-a insitu yang berkisar antara 0.0008-0.0116 miligram per liter, sedangkan nilai konsentrasi klorofil-a yang diperoleh dari citra Sentinel-2A berkisar antara 0.0109-0.0137 miligram per liter, dan nilai RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) yang didapatkan yaitu 0.0116.
