Abstract

Tingginya angka kecelakaan lalu lintas sering kali diperparah oleh kesalahan atau keterlambatan dalam tindakan evakuasi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat awam. Hal ini dapat memperburuk kondisi korban atau bahkan mengakibatkan kematian. Keadaan tersebut disebabkan oleh kurangnya kesiapan masyarakat awam, termasuk mahasiswa keperawatan, dalam melakukan tindakan evakuasi. Kesiapan pada mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui kombinasi media e-booklet dan simulasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi media e-booklet dan simulasi terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa dalam evakuasi korban kecelakaan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Keperawatan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya semester 2 dan 4 yang berjumlah 212 orang, dengan total sampel berjumlah 73 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan probabilitiy sampling dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang sudah divalidasi. Hasil analisis kesiapan menggunakan uji paired ttest didapatkan p-value 0,000 (<0,05) artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa yang diberikan kombinasi e-booklet dan simulasi. Kombinasi media e-booklet dan simulasi efektif meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa karena ebooklet dapat diakses dengan mudah sedangkan simulasi dapat melatih kerja sama kelompok serta memperoleh pemahaman tentang suatu konsep sehingga mendapatkan hasil yang lebih maksimal bagi responden. Kata Kunci : E-Booklet, Evakuasi, Kesiapan, Simulasi The high number of traffic accidents is often coused by errors or delays in evacuation actions carried out by the inexperienced people. This can worsen the victim’s condition or even followed by death. This situation is resulted from the lack of preparation of the inexperienced society, including nursing students, in carrying of the evacuation measures. The Readiness of students can be Increased through a combination of e-booklets and simulation media. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of a combination of e-booklet and simulation media on student readiness in evacuating traffic accident victims. This research used a preexperimental research design with a One Group Pretest Posttest Design approach. The population in this study were the students of the Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Sriwijaya University, semester 2 and 4 that were 212 people, with total samples were 73 respondents. The Sampling used probability sampling with cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected using a validated questionnaire. The results of the readiness analysis using the paired t-test obtained p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), meaning that there was a significant influence on the readiness of students who were given e-booklets combination and simulations. The combination of e-booklet and simulation media was effective in increasing student readiness because e-booklets can be accessed easily while simulations can practise group collaboration and gain understanding about a concept so as to get maximum results for respondents.
