Abstract
This reasearch aimed to test activity prebiotic of palm press fiber fermentation with substrate of rice straw. The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design with 3 treatments and 5 replications. Rice straw untreated (control) (PO), prebiotic palm press fiber (5%) with substrate (1 g) (Pl), and prebiotic palm press fiber (10%) with substrate (1 g) (P2). The parameters observed to include Dry Matter Digestibility (KCBK), Digestibility of Organic Materials (KCBO) and NH3-N concentration. The results showed the highest average value KCBK is on treatment (PO) 66.2%, while the average value is the highest KCBO treatment (P2) 84.96% and the average of the highest concentrations of N-NH 3 is the treatment (Pl) 1.1%. Activity prebiotic of palm press fiber fermentation with substrate of rice straw did not influence the concentration of N-Ammonia (NH3-N) but influential to dry matter digestibility coefficients (KCBK) and organic matter digestibility coefficients (KCBO).
