Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh dari penerapan model pembelajaran make a match terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMPN 2 Tanjung Raja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentuk pre-ekperimental design jenis one shot case study. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII dengan jumlah keseluruhan 187 siswa dan untuk pengambilan sampel, peneliti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehinggga sampel pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, angket skala likert dan dokumentasi. berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran make a match berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hal terseut dapat dibuktikan berdasarlan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji one sample t-test dengan menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 22 didapatkan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, maka hipotesis yang diambil adalah H0 tolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran make a match untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di SMP N 2 Tanjung Raja.
