Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media in the form of mnemonic animations to improve children's memory in learning Iqro, especially in improving understanding of hijaiyah letters at the Al-Quran Ash-Shoulatiyah Ogan Ilir Education Park. The research design uses the ADDIE development model which includes needs analysis, problem identification, and analysis of student needs, followed by the initial media design stage using Canva software, then the development stage includes production, editing, and validation by a team of experts with a media expert validity percentage of 95 %, material experts 90%, and language experts 85%. These results show that this media is very valid for use in learning. Its implementation with one-to-one and small group trials shows valid and practical success. So, this mnemonic animation media can be used as an Iqro learning medium to make it easier to understand learning support tools, especially in improving understanding of hijaiyah letters, both in the Al-Quran Ash-Shoulatiyah Ogan Ilir educational park and in other Al-Quran educational parks.
