Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Peran Humas Dalam Mempertahankan Citra Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Palembang, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk menggambarkan kondisi, situasi serta fakta yang ada dilapangan mengenai peran Humas. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah wawancara mendalam, observasi serta studi dokumentasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peran humas dalam mempertahankan citra Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Palembang. Peran Humas sebagai komunikator diwujudkan melalui beberapa kegiatan yang dilaksanakan untuk internal yaitu rapat formal, upacara bendera, matrikulasi, sedangkan untuk eksternal rapat komite dengan Wali murid, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Expo, dan penerimaan peserta didik baru. Peran Humas sebagai pembina hubungan dengan guru, siswa, stake holder, media massa, serta masyarakat sekitar sekolah. Peran Humas sebagai pendukung manajemen ialah menerbitkan Majalah MANTAP 3, dan peran Humas sebagai menciptakan citra, mempromosikan sekolah melalui media massa, media cetak dan media sosial dengan memberikan informasi yang positif.
