Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in learning outcomes using SFAE (Student Facilitator and Explaining) model with CIRC (Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition) In Basic Automotive Technology subjects basic metal forming competence in SMKN 1 North Indralaya. This research method is quasy experiment. The total population of all students class X TKR SMKN 1 North Indralaya academic year 2016/2017 amounted to 75 people. Techniques of collecting data using tests and observations, in the form of student learning outcomes and activities. The result of test data analysis using t-test shows thitung equal to 0,99 while ttable at 5% significant level equal to 2.01 hence result accept Ho or no difference of learning result. Based on the students' activity analysis of class X TKR 2 using SFAE first meeting model is 59,90%, second meeting becomes 77,08%. While the activity of class X student TKR 1 using CIRC first meeting model equal to 63,46%, second meeting become 74,04% based on categorization criterion can be said that activeness of second class is active.
