Abstract

The aim of this research were to know the respon of probiotic bacteria on V harveyi population at culture medium and body of prawn larvae also their survival rate. This research has been done on April 2009 in Agro Techno Park (ATP). The parameter of this research were survival rate, bacteria population in prawn larvae and culture medium and also water quality. The result of this research indicated that addition of Vibrio UG4 probiotic bacteria could supress V harveyi population at culture medium and prawn larvae body, but could not maintain the survival rate of prawn larvae.
