Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA.3 SMAN 2 Tanjung Raja melalui penerapan pembelajaran Class-Wide Peer Tutoring (CWPT). Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMAN 2 Tanjung Raja dengan subyek penelitian peserta didik kelas X MIA.3 yang berjumlah 30 orang terdiri dari 12 orang laki-laki dan 18 orang perempuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan tiga siklus dan setiap siklus dilakukan dua kali pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh data hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran kimia sebelum tindakan (T0) terdapat 2 orang tuntas (6,67% ) dengan nilai ratarata hasil belajar sebesar 1,29. Pada siklus I (T1) terdapat 9 orang tuntas (30,00%) dengan nilai rata-rata 1,61. Pada siklus II (T2) terdapat 19 orang tuntas (63,33%) dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 2,53. Pada siklus III (T3) terdapat 26 orang tuntas (86,67%) dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,00. Hasil penelitian dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran CWPT dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran kimia ditunjukkan dari T3>T2>T1>T0.
